Prior to starting his own law firm in 2003, served as in house counsel for Bickmore Risk Services where he helped form the Employment Risk Management Authority and was associated with the Sacramento law firm of Hardy Erich Brown & Wilson.
Jay earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Santa Clara University in 1994. At Santa Clara, Jay was selected as a recipient of the State Bar of California's prestigious Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Francisco in 1991. Jay is a member of the Trust
